Truly, if you cover up her mouth with your hand it really shows.
This is one of those images that gives an interesting life to the pony design. A clearly more advanced creature, having vestigial equine facial characteristics and a body more in line with developing bipedal locomotion, this pony possesses the large cranium of a high-level being and the anatomy one expects in creatures possessing highly emotive facial expression.
1: Little Pip is small. Like, really small. A couple of different ponies remark on her "foal-like" size. 2: Little Pip gets shot up. Like, really shot up. It's a small wonder she never took a round from one of the many AMRs she has had pointed (and fired) at her. A few scrapes and bruises means she is having a good day.
